Introducing the Gentroo App

Working with an amazing team, I had the privilege of creating an interface that will help save lives. Gentroo is a live-saving connections mobile application that allows health organizations and families to monitor their loved ones. The design was a great exercise in creating alerts and how best to warn of an issue that might arise with a patient!

Screen real estate has become increasingly tough in many devices. With mobile devices, the use of gestures helped in preserving real estate and reducing clutter - thus contributing to a better user experience.

Prominent colour gradients used helped bring alarm or ease to the user. Red gradients pushed out the importance of an alert, orange brings slight alarm and green indicated - “hey, don’t fret - all is well!”Sort of like a traffic light. Stop, caution or go!
